🪶 “Noodler”とは？ / What does “Noodler” mean?
「Noodler（ヌードラー）」とは、オーストラリアのスラングで、
地面や鉱山の残土から宝石や鉱石を探す人を指します。
私たちはこの言葉を、鉱石や化石、クリスタルなどを気ままに探し歩くアマチュア探検ファミリーの意味で使っています。
「ラーメン好きのブログ」じゃなくてごめんなさい🙇。
In Australia, the word “Noodler” is a local slang term for someone who searches through mine tailings or the ground to find gemstones or bits of opal.
For us, it represents a curious family of hobby explorers who simply love discovering the hidden treasures of nature.
Sorry, this isn’t a ramen-lover’s blog 🙇.
🌿 私たちについて / About Us
私たちはオーストラリアのシドニーを拠点に、鉱石・化石・クリスタルを探しながらキャンプ旅行を楽しむ家族 “The Hatori Noodlers” です。
きっかけは、道端で拾った小さな石。そのワクワクが広がって、今では家族全員で“宝探し＆キャンプ旅”を楽しむようになりました。
車は２ＷＤですが、行ける範囲を工夫しながら少しずつ行動範囲を広げています。
We are The Hatori Noodlers, a Sydney-based family who loves exploring Australia through camping trips while searching for minerals, fossils, and crystals.
It all began with a small stone we picked up by the roadside — that little spark of excitement grew into a full-blown passion for family “treasure-hunting and camping adventures.”
Although we drive a 2WD car, we’re always finding creative ways to reach new spots and gradually expand our range of exploration.

このブログでは、家族で訪れたフォッシッキング（fossicking）スポットや、キャンプ地の紹介に加え、ファミリーキャンプ hacks（工夫や小技）もシェアしています。
「2WDでも行ける」「子連れでも楽しめる」をテーマに、初心者目線でリアルな体験情報をまとめています。
家族旅行は主にスクールホリデーごとに行っており、その都度、新しい発見をレポートしています。
Here, we share stories and tips from our fossicking trips, family-friendly camping spots, and little camp hacks we’ve learned along the way.
Our focus is on places and adventures that are beginner-friendly, 2WD-accessible, and fun for families with kids.
We usually hit the road during school holidays, turning each break into a new family adventure.

自然の中で泥だらけになって遊びながら、子どもたちと一緒に石を探し、見つけ、驚く。
そんな時間を通して、「探すことの楽しさ」や「小さな発見の喜び」を感じてほしいと願っています。
このブログが、他の御家族にもアウトドアへの一歩を踏み出すきっかけになれば嬉しいです。
We love the moments when our kids dig in the dirt, spot a shimmer, and shout “I found one!”
Through these experiences, we hope to inspire curiosity, patience, and appreciation for the natural world — and maybe encourage other families to start their own adventures too.
